The Challenge

As a well-established, multi-generational agricultural and manufacturing business, Austchilli recognised the need for a strategic partner to guide the development of its next Strategic Plan. The business required clarity, alignment and workforce capability planning to ensure continuity and confidence in its next phase.

Key challenges included

  • Aligning leadership around a refreshed vision and growth priorities

  • Preparing the workforce for transition and expansion

  • Strengthening productivity and capability across teams

  • Establishing clear succession pathways for critical roles

Our Approach

Change management sat at the heart of our engagement, guiding the creation of Austchilli’s three-year Strategic Plan and companion Workforce and Training Plan.

Our methodology included

  • Immersion and enquiry within the business through performance analysis and operating landscape mapping

  • Interviews with 30 staff across all levels

  • Partnering with Executive team and senior leaders to co-design the Strategic Plan framework

  • Translating into a practical Workforce Development and Training Plan to build ownership and capability

This people-centred approach positioned Austchilli to navigate transition while accelerating its next phase of growth.

Services Delivered

As a well established, multigenerational business in agriculture and manufacturing, we recognised the need for a strong partner to guide the development of our Strategic Plan, particularly in shaping a workforce and training strategy that would support a seamless transition for our next phase of growth. Sparrowly Group took a people-first approach from the outset, ensuring our team’s voices were truly heard and that their insights directly informed our strategic direction.
