The Challenge
The NSW Skills Board is an independent advisory body tasked with providing strategic advice to the State Government on vocational education and workforce skills needs. Sparrowly Group was engaged to facilitate the Board’s 2025 Planning Day to develop its annual Work Plan.
The session needed to harness the expertise of senior industry leaders while maintaining the Board’s charter of providing independent, evidence-based advice to the Minister.
Key challenges included:
Aligning priorities across diverse industry sectors
Maintaining independence while informing government policy
Ensuring strategies remained evidence-driven and future-focused
Achieving consensus within a single planning session
Our Approach
