We build connected, inclusive and
self-sustaining places where people are enabled and supported to thrive.

Our approach

We work at the cornerstone of where community and industry meet, helping shape thriving and connected communities for governments, community organisations and industry.

Through place-based community engagement, community development strategies, placemaking principles, policy and program design, we build local capacity and strengthen the social and economic foundations that make communities more attractive places to live, work, play and visit.

Our focus is on creating comprehensive strategies and designing programs that foster resilience, inclusion and long-term cohesion ensuring no one is left behind. We do this by ensuring programs are co-designed where communities identify, plan and solve their own local issues to create positive, sustainable change.

We strengthen local capacity and capability by empowering all people, engaging and promoting inclusion and social equity and self-determination.

How our community development work is different

Cyclists ride along a rural trail through open countryside, reflecting active tourism, wellbeing and connection with nature.

Our work across economic and workforce development and tourism ensures that we address place-based strengths and challenges that are embedded within communities to identify co-designed solutions and initiatives.

We bring together community insight, practical delivery planning and third sector expertise to create strategies and programs that genuinely strengthen communities. We combine engagement, policy design and implementation pathways to ensure community initiatives are inclusive, fundable and sustainable.
