The Challenge

The NSW Department of Education engaged Sparrowly Group to evaluate the Industry Training Advisory Bodies (ITABs) program and design future model option recommendations. ITABs play a critical role in providing independent, industry-informed advice on workforce skills and training needs across NSW and align into federal Jobs and Skills Councils.

Our Approach

We developed a robust evaluation framework to assess program performance and guide future governance and funding decisions.

  • Development of a Program Logic Model and Evaluation Plan

  • Analysis of administrative and performance data

  • Stakeholder engagement with ITAB boards, training providers, industry, Jobs and Skills Councils and industry bodies

  • Comparative analysis of interstate and international advisory models

  • Development and assessment of future model options
