Jackie Hicks is a consultant and heads up our training division at Sparrowly Group, delivering strategic tourism, workforce, community and economic development projects across Australia, New Zealand and South-East Asia.
An expert in strategic planning, program design and stakeholder engagement across public and private sectors, Jackie blends practical experience with analytical rigour to design evidence-based solutions that meet real community and industry needs.
With over 10 years’ experience across tourism, economic and community development, she specialises in engagement facilitation, stakeholder collaboration and mixed-method research that supports funded outcomes and sustained impact. She leads Sparrowly Group’s training and mentoring division which has supported over 1,000 businesses across Australia.
Jackie has co-led complex consultation, strategy development and planning processes that strengthen organisational capability and align local priorities with strategic objectives. She brings deep insight into community-focused projects, co-design methodologies and multi-stakeholder engagement. She is the co-author of Sparrowly Group’s paper on accessible and inclusive tourism.
Based in Sydney, she works regionally, nationally and globally to help governments and organisations deliver practical, implementable strategies that drive outcomes for people, places and economies.
